PHOTO CONTEST: $1,000 FIRST PRIZE
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 31st, 2004
Due to issues related to updating Black River Publishing's web site the deadline for the 16th annual "Outdoor Grandeur" photography contest has been extended to July 31st, 2004. The contest features a $1,000 prize to the first place winner. Twelve cash prizes will be awarded and all winning entries will be published in a nationally distributed calendar for 2005. This is a great opportunity for all professionals and aspiring amateur photographers to get their prize winning works published.
Acceptable themes include images of outdoor scenery, such as waterfalls, snow covered mountains, scenic beaches and forests of changing leaves. Images reflecting all seasons of the year are needed. There is no limit to the number of images submitted and are accepted as either prints, digital files, or 35mm slides. The entries will be judged on their photographic quality, appeal and content. Entrants providing a self addressed stamped envelope will have their images returned. Winning images will be used on a non-exclusive basis.
All entries must be postmarked by July 31st, 2004 and should be accompanied by a single $5.00 entry fee, regardless of the number of images submitted.
